Balaclava Dental Care: Website Design & Development

This project involved designing and developing a complete online presence for Balaclava Dental Care, a family, cosmetic, and emergency dental practice based in East St Kilda, Melbourne. The goal was to give a busy, well-established clinic a website that matched the quality of care happening in the chair: clean, warm, and easy to navigate for patients booking everything from a routine check-up to urgent emergency care.

We structured the site around clear service pathways, General, Cosmetic, Restorative, and Surgical Dentistry, so patients could find exactly what they needed without digging through menus. A prominent booking system was integrated throughout the site, letting visitors schedule appointments in a couple of clicks rather than picking up the phone. We also built out dedicated pages for payment plans (Humm, Afterpay, Zip Pay, Dentacare) and health fund partnerships (NIB, CBHS, Westfund, HIF), addressing one of the biggest hesitations patients have before booking: cost and coverage.

The result is a fast, mobile-friendly site that reflects the practice’s calm, patient-first approach, and gives the East St Kilda community a genuinely easy way to find, trust, and book with Balaclava Dental Care.
